Admissions Policies

Buff Beauty Academy conducts admission of students without regard to race, creed, color, religion, financial status, country or ethnic origin, age or sex. Prospective students must provide the following prior to being admitted student.

• Picture Identification,SocialSecurity

• $150 Registration Fee

• Complete the enrollment process, application and interview process

• Down Payment of $1500.00 required to start (payment can be made inside membership portal at top right of page after Registration Fee)

Program Requirement: 

​

The Manicurist Program requires 300 clocked hours. While completing these required hours students will participate in all school assemblies, distance education online assignments, theory classes and hands on instruction. This program consists of 16modules, each with a specific focus. For the modules of this program students will be in a hybrid classroom and virtual environment practicing hands-on skills through workshops on mannequins, student, peers, and clients. Upon completion students will bereceive a temporary license and have six months period to obtain license. Our curriculum is prepared to help student to prepare for the NC Exam and we strive to prepare students to take and successfully pass the cosmetology NC Board Exam
